What is a Healing Circle?
A healing circle is a safe and sacred space that is created to assist with the healing of those of participants present, but also is a great technique for healing those who may be too sick to attend, live many miles away, interstate or overseas, or just can't attend for whatever reason. It is a beautiful tradition often found in indigenous communities and is coming into its own amongst many healers and lightworkers worldwide.
The healing circle can be used in many different forms and not just for people. We have used the energy of a healing circle to also help with natural disasters, the healing of different environments, animals and communities.
The techniques that Vicky uses come from her learning and studies in Hawaii with the elders and also on a Hunaquest with Serge Kahili King on Kauai in 2005.

How does it work?
More information can be found in the books "Imagineering For Health" and "Urban Shaman", by Serge Kahili King, both of which are available at The Huna Store.
Vicky holds a regular monthly meeting, because this helps to develop the healing power of the group, (typically, we hold them around the New Moon). Otherwise, a healing circle can be held spontaneously dependent on circumstances i.e. messages from Vicky's guides, a natural disaster, or a personal request from an individual/group requiring assitance
* People are welcome to come or not as they please to our New Moon Healing Circle. Attendence is by choice.
* To begin, we harmonize our individual energies. The most simple way to do this is, for those present to hold hands for a minute or two with eyes closed and attention on the feel of the hands. Everyone present is invited to relate one good thing that has happened recently, if they feel inclined. Sometimes a guest healer may lead a brief relaxing or inspirational meditation.
* Next, we do some healing, for international, national, or local community problems; for people at a distance who have requested or need help; and for present members of the Circle.
As mentioned, there are many techniques available for this in the books of Serge Kahili King and others, or you may already know some. At Aloha International's Healing Circles on Kauai and Big Island, members and visitors are invited to share different techniques with the group, along with the more standard techniques that are used.
The most important thing is to maintain the purpose as a Healing Circle. Please Note: this is not a class or a group therapy session.
